It was Friday 16th of October when Dr Tee a.k.a Kazibwe Travis Uganda’s artist, Song writer, Producer and musician had his launch at Serena hotel Kampala. An event that was rarely heard and seen advertised in the press and over the Radio and TV stations. Since The Likes of CBS and Akabozi Have been off air for a quite a number of weeks and have not only brought down a number of companies but also events in town for example The Golden Awards, The Kawuulu Album Launch did not seem to survive this.

The Golden Awards for the First time in Uganda were held this year on Sunday 14th of October 2009 At Nakivubo Stadium. Speared headed and organized by Abtex Production, along with Sponsors Like Orange, Pal Suites, Red Bull. These could be the permanent and long time replacement of the formerly popular PAM awards which has recently faced a lot of criticism. The winner of the day was Dr Jose.
